I am writing to you from grey and rainy Istanbul. It has been a strange spring perhaps the strangest I have ever encountered in my years on our planet. The mood of the weather was quite moody, spring hesitated to come, last week it felt like we were jumping from spring to summer and today not. The planet is stirred due to the climate crisis, the country was stirred due to the election. One is over, the other is our biggest problem as a species yet our election1 was not even aware of it or found it relevant or spoke about it…

Spring has lived its life and it is about to say farewell. Summer is approaching with a solstice and from there on, there will be no spring. Spring must leave and it wants our witnessing.
Gemini and their cosmic twins welcome us to late spring on Earth. From the womb, Geminis are aware of the other and fascinated by them. Everything alerts Gemini. In Gemini’s presence, everything gets alert. The world is an open buffet to observe. Gemini has no minute and heartbeat to waste. They shall perceive it all and devour all the minds. Why, when, how, what, who, where? Gemini asks all the questions. Gemini gestures all the gestures. They fill the air with mimics, with words. They gather and disperse the answers, the information, the news, the riddles, the stories, the jokes. Everyone’s name, everyone’s trick, everyone’s intelligence, everyone’s story, everyone’s questions wants to speak, be heard, be seen and roam in the atmosphere.
Gemini is the messenger, the magician, the pollinator, the trickster, the mischief-maker, the journalist, the reporter, the salesperson, the thief, the comedian, the jester, the orator, the scribe, the psychopomp, the eternal-child, peter pan, tinkerbell…
