Dear Readers,
When I had announced the Enchanted Zodiac, before I started writing it with Aries, I thought I could write through the first days/degrees of each sign and send them your way. Quickly after the excited spark of the Aries, my thought had to rethink itself… as each sign was to give me a different kind of writing experience and I knew I’d rather enjoy that zodiacal creativity than wanting to impose my writer will to it. Cosmic rams, cosmic bulls, cosmic twins, cosmic crabs and now the cosmic cats, each one have gifted me unique creative journeys.
This is the fifth chapter of Enchanted Zodiac. It has whiskers, fur, claws, paws, tail and mane. It loves to lay under the Sun, sun-dance and enjoy life. I feel my late cat companion and the forever lioness of my life, Çakıl, has been with me while writing this part of the zodiac. Thank you, beloved fur. I dedicate this chapter to you.
Now, without further ado please allow me to invite us to the world of big cats, the universe of stars.
Once upon an imagination, all of us, all our solar kin, everything and everyone in this very solar system, were all a cloud of dust and gas together. About 4.6 billion years ago, we as the cloud of gas and dust, began to get excited and unstable, then collapsed. And our solar nebula sparked a star, our sun (and perhaps a long-gone twin) and began to feed the cosmic fire that is orbited by many planets, moons, asteroids, and us.
Now, we are kindling such a cosmic fire in the zodiac, in our imaginations as Leo and their cosmic lions welcome us to the depth of summer. With all sorts of stories, dances, ceremonies, performances, plays, dramas, comedies, ballets, operas, symphonies, arias, musicals, drawings, painting, sculptures, mosaics, concerts, movies, tv shows, songs, circus shows… creation upon creation. We are letting the sunshine in and out. With the cosmic lion, we are burning with creativity inside out. We want to turn life into a creative festival. This is the time when the heat of our star is most felt in the Northern hemisphere where this Astrology was imagined and created. We want to celebrate this free abundant source of light and life with our creations.
